Meet the Teachers
We have professional-level voice lessons for beginners through pros with associate teachers Janet and Chris or with head coach Eleonor England.
Janet Coco
(she/her)
Janet teaches Mondays and Saturdays out of our Normal Heights/North Park location. Janet is just really positive minded and her students always seem to be laughing and having fun in the sessions. Janet fronts her own musical projects and records Electronica. She’s studied Speech Level Singing and is mentoring with our vocal pedagogy department in NYC. She’s also done extensive work with kids multi-disciplinary learning. I did not know Janet was a kids’ learning superstar until after her audition. You should check out her main page cause she’s pretty major (Book 1:1 session Now)
Chris Marston
(he/him)
Chris Marston teaches Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays out of our Normal Heights/North Park location. Chris is an upbeat dude with a bachelors in vocal performance who’s been teaching since 2019. He teaches everything and I mean everything. Opera? Check. Pop/Rock? Check. Metal Vocals? Wait metal vocals, are you serious? Yes, Chris can even show you how to do metal vocals safely so you don’t lose your voice – let’s get some dirty vocals going on! Did I mention he’s amazing to be around? $100-125 sliding scale. Normal Heights Sunday through Wednesday (Book 1:1 session Now)
Eleonor England
(she/her)
Eleonor England is the head coach who gave her first lesson in 1986. Her clients run the gamut of beginners through pro clients, some of whom went on afterwards to be nominated for GRAMMYs, win big at the San Diego Music Awards, and win at the super prestigious Chinese Music Awards in Hong Kong. She’s available in San Diego when she’s not in NYC. She teaches out of La Jolla Sundays and Normal Heights Thursdays. $155 (Book 1:1 session now)
