I teach students working in all genres (styles) but use a variety of materials depending upon the genre, goals of the individual student, etc. Below is a summary of some of the types of things I do in lessons as they vary between classical, musical theatre, singer-songwriter and pop/rock related genres, and jazz/blues related genres:
