Lothair Eaton

Ellie here!  I’d like to introduce you to an amazing singing teacher and performer who is working with me to get you guys better at singing with lower pricing and easier scheduling, but still keeping the same high standards I have for the teaching studio.

With Lothair, we have developed a hyrbid program where we share the students and I oversee the curriculum closely.  Lothair and I meet twice a month for a total of 5 hours to work out a good training program for each student and to be on the same page with your training.

Lothair is really cool, too, and has toured the UK and New Zealand as well as done a 10 year residency in Germany in the role of Poppa in Starlight Express.  He’s also been on TV and commercials and done a ton of other Broadway singing from Little Shop of Horrows (check his amazing clip below) to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

What I love about Lothair is his way of talking to people and setting them at ease, his infectious laugh, and how much he cares about his students.  He is also cautious which, when you’re talking about teaching voice, is really important to me so that we get your guys the safest, best method we can.  Here’s a review that’s pretty typical of the kinds of reviews people have written about him:

And he’s not just a great teacher, Lothair was trained extensively in Opera, Musical Theatre, and Drama which all combined to make this amazing performance from Little Shop of Horrors – Wow.  And he was one of the average of 20 students per year to be accepted into the drama department of Carnegie Mellon where he is a graduate.  Just wow.

Lothair is also a singing teacher at the famous Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan which is a program for top talent at the high school level.  Lothair does great work with kids!

I really couldn’t be more excited to have Lothair on board for his mixture of superb singing skills, interpretation, teaching chops, and – very important to me – that his students leave the lessons singing and feeling better than when they walked in.

Lothair will be starting with us in February.  Get into his calendar early cause I have a feeling it’s gonna fill fast!
